MELVILLE, N.Y- Canon U.S.A. Inc. publicizes the upcoming release of the new Canon EOS C100 Mark II Digital Video Camera, the newest edition to the Canon Cinema EOS line of professional Super 35mm 8.3 megapixel CMOS cameras and the second-generation version of the well-known Canon EOS C100 Digital Video Camera. The device has a Super 35mm 8.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and provides fresh designs and performance upgrades. Canon EOS C100 Mark II Digital Video Camera will be recognized as an affordable solution for film and video production.
On the design front, the EOS C100 Mark II is consists of a new eyecup that can be combined with the unit’s 1.23 megapixel color EVF. The camera’s body also has red trigger buttons and a built-in mono microphone. These will allow basic capture even without the top handle. The EOS C100 Mark II’s display panel has also been exalted to a 3.5-inch 1.23 megapixel OLED display for stress-free viewing, even in direct sunlight.
The C100 Mark II also features Dual Pixel CMOS and Face-Detection autofocus. The new Canon DIGIC DV4 image processor has also been applied to display what Canon calls ‘noticeably improved image quality’. The chip will also help lessen video noise at high ISO speeds (up to 80,000).
